Eco-School Award
Sustainability Plan
Welcome to our Eco-school journey......
What is Eco-Schools?
Empowering Children & teens to improve our environment. What is Eco-Schools? Eco-Schools is an international program and framework that guides educational institutions on their journey to becoming more sustainable by embedding environmental and sustainable principles into their curriculum and daily life. Led by pupils forming an eco-committee, the program uses a structured process of review, action planning, and monitoring to involve the whole school community in making the setting greener. The goal is to empower young people, raise environmental awareness, and achieve a recognized accreditation, such as the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, which signifies a commitment to sustainability.
Guinness World Record
The school took part in the largest hand hygiene lesson (multiple venue) organised by Germ's Journey UK on 15th October 2024. We are pleased to say that this lesson achieved a new world record of which we are very proud
