Report a Child's Absence

Starting School

If your child is 4 or will turn 4 before 1 September 2026, they can start school in September 2026.  Hampshire County Council is responsible for the admission arrangements for all Community and Voluntary Controlled Primary schools in Hampshire.  Applications open for Hampshire residents on 1st November 2025.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make as a parent and we know that you need to visit a school and speak to the staff to decide which school is right for your child.

Please take a moment to watch our Sparkle Time Video below, it will bring a smile to your face.
