Gardening Club

Tuesday 3:15 - 4:15

Gardening club takes place all year round on a Tuesday after school and is open to children in year 1 and 2. (Children in year R cover gardening as part of their learning). It will provide an opportunity for children to learn about growing plants and wildlife. We aim to grow a variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers. 

Each week we will do a different activity depending on the season. Some weeks, we may not garden but will do activities relating to nature. 

A few of the things we will do include: 

Planting seeds / bulbs

Harvesting
Composting
Makinh bird feeders / bug hotels
Indoor and outdoor herb gardens 
Looking after our school pond

 And much more. 

The club will be run by Miss Hunter and Mrs Jenner
